Hi, I’m Lauren,

After graduating from McMaster University & Brock University, I pursued a career in finance at one of Canada’s big banks, where for five years I worked as a financial service representative and as an assistant to one of the top mortgage specialists. Throughout my time at the bank, I expanded my knowledge in investing & borrowing, but found myself wanting to learn more about home financing – I was drawn to the idea of helping my customers achieve their home ownership dreams. I then pursued my Mortgage Agent License and joined broker side with Synergy Mortgage Group & the Legacy Team.

I’m now both the Underwriter for the Legacy Team & a Mortgage Agent myself, with my initial background in education and prior to starting my finance career, I was teaching secondary school for several years. I have been able to implement my teaching strategies by educating all those around me including clients & co-workers about home-financing and the many options available – allow myself to teach you the ins and outs of home financing and help you reach your home ownership goals.

When I’m not helping my customers achieve their dreams of home ownership, you can find me spending time with my husband Phil, our son Keller & our dog Stella. We love to travel, hike, play sports and most of all, go find garage sales on Saturday mornings!
