Hi, I’m Lauren,

After graduating from McMaster University & Brock University, I started my career in finance at one of Canada’s big banks, where I spent five years working as a Financial Service Representative and assistant to one of Canada’s top Mortgage Specialists. During that time, I built a strong background in lending & investing, but quickly realized my passion was helping clients navigate home financing and achieve their homeownership goals.

I then moved to the broker side with Synergy Mortgage Group & the Legacy Team, where I worked as a licensed Mortgage Agent for four years, and officially upgraded my license to Mortgage Broker in early 2026. Now, after 10 years in the mortgage industry, I continue to love helping clients understand their options and making the mortgage process feel approachable and stress-free.

Before finance, I spent several years teaching secondary school — a background that still shapes the way I work with clients today. I truly enjoy educating people on the ins and outs of home financing, and I still love learning myself. I’m always looking for solutions and different options for my clients, no matter the circumstance, to help them feel confident throughout the process.

When I’m not helping my customers achieve their dreams of home ownership, you can find me spending time with my husband Phil, our son Keller & our dog Stella. We love to travel, hike, play sports and most of all, go find garage sales on Saturday mornings!
